Born on August 14, 1992, Corinne and Rhiannon Neville-Smyth were always close. It's hard to tell them apart, being that they're identical twins -- generally speaking, of course, Cor usually wears her hair curly, while Rhiannon's is usually straighter. Their parents own the prestigious Shooting Star Stables, which is a huge deal here in Vancouver. It's helped them grow up in good money, and the girls were both expected to be snobby little rich girls -- Rhiannon might have turned out more that way, but Corinne ended up selfless and probably too nice for her own good.
When the girls were six, they befriended the new girl, Alexa Evans-Shade. She's shallow, but sweet, and the three of them have been good friends ever since. One summer, as most young girls do, they opened up a lemonade stand at the end of the driveway, and split their earnings in three ways. While the other two girls spent their money on new toys or candy, Corinne opted to donate hers -- and that's where it all started.
Even now, in her final year of high school, Cor tends to spend most of her time not hanging out with friends or even doing her homework, but volunteering at various animal shelters, hospitals, daycares, and other charities around the city. At school, she works hard and doesn't really talk to anyone; this has made her gain the reputation of a loner, a nerd, and a snob all combined into one. People are much more likely to attempt to befriend her twin instead of her, and she doesn't really mind that; she finds most of the people who go to her school far more shallow than even Alexa.
She's always had a celebrity crush on Mitch Williams -- well, of course. What girl hasn't swooned at the sight of a poster of the gorgeous actor / male model? Only Corinne might actually have a shot with him, or she thinks she might. And she's pretty spot on with that guess. Just her luck, right? Sweet, selfless girl falls for cocky asshole. Isn't that always the way?
