ONE. okay, so obviously you've read loads and loads of sets of rules before. rules for roleplay sites like this one, rules for dodgeball (if your p.e. teacher is weird like mine), rules for monopoly, whatever. so in both my interest and yours, i'm going to keep this short, but you do need to read these rules. yeah, i know. lame. a rule saying to read the rules. but seriously, do it.

TWO. when registering, you can make your username be whatever the hell you want it to. but after that, we'd like you to change it to your character's name, in all capitals, in this format: FIRST MIDDLE LAST -- it's not that hard, right? one account per character, too. there's no limit to the amount of characters you can play; just be sure that you can handle however many you do make. that means keep 'em active, people. there will be activity checks, so make sure you don't miss those. also, try to keep the male to female ratio as even as possible. i've even installed a handy little ratios section in the sidebars for you! so pay attention to it, please.

THREE. because i'm a neat freak (with some things; roleplay sites, not my room, obviously), i'd like to keep the site as uncluttered as possible. which means: if a thread is finished, a character request filled, a character given up, etc. i will move said threads into the graveyard. they will still be viewable, in case you want to check up on something, but you cannot post in them once they are in there. if you need something moved in or out of the graveyard, pm the admin (that's me, ryla) and i will move it for you, unless you have a lame reason.

FOUR. here on crazy dreams come true, we only accept original characters. if it's not original, it won't be accepted. that means no stealing characters from tv shows, movies, or books. no artie abrams in a wheelchair who loves glee club. no elena gilbert torn between two handsome brothers. oh, and taking characters like artie or elena and editing them to make them seem original will not work -- so don't even try it. also, please keep character from another website away from ours to avoid trouble for the staff as well as the members. unless, of course, you have permission to use that character or you own that character on the other site.

FIVE. the only places that you can post without being accepted are in the guest-friendly suggestions board, the advertising sections of the site, the claims (if you need to reserve your face so that nobody takes it while you create your character), and the canon list / character requests (if you are going to take one of them). on this site, there will be no plagiarism, spamming, godmodding, or absolutely perfect characters. everyone has flaws, okay? oh, and use proper english. excessive use of "lol" and "omg" isn't roleplaying. proper grammar is not required, (as you can see xD) but please keep the spelling good and grammar and spelling good, too.

SIX. pregnancies, near-death experiences, and anything of the sort need to be run by ryla first. and while we're on the topic of pregnancies and near-death experiences, don't get too graphic, okay? we don't want / need to read about sex in great detail. as soon as the clothes start coming off, we get the point. just skip the rest.

SEVEN. we have no minimum word count for each post, but try to give the other person(s) you're roleplaying with enough to work off of, all right? 'cause it's really hard to get a good post going when you're given "joelle walked into the room, listening to her ipod, and sat down." try to get a couple of decent paragraphs. we also do not want "one-liners". this means you post only 1 or two lines in your posts.

EIGHT. when posting in the claims section, make sure you post in code! otherwise, the claim will be ignored. if your playby is already taken, that's too bad; unless that character just so happens to have an identical twin. those are allowed. claims are on a first-come, first-serve basis. i don't want to be whined to about how you had your app with taylor swift as the face claim all ready to go, only you forgot to take out the (wip) in the title, and i didn't look at it -- and then you went to bed and when you came back, someone else had created a taylor swift character.

NINE. in the chatbox, don't spam. also, make sure your name isn't super long. jane is always preferred instead of jane-is-the-best-17383281919. also, don't impersonate other people. that's definitely not allowed. don't advertise in the chatbox, and do not bitch at me or anyone else. it sounds like kindergarten, but treat others how you would like to be treated, okay?

TEN. and the last rule? this is a roleplay for people who can handle mature issues. if you are too young or unable to deal with swearing and sex (again, though, not in explicit detail) and drugs and booze, do not join. and... okay,
