A nomal teenager wakes up approximately 7am to 7:30am for school. The first thing they'd do is slam down on the snooze button and go back to sleep, only to be annoyed once more by that same alarm. Eventually he/she would grudgingly make their way towards the washroom- whether to take a shower or to get dressed. They would then follow to either make their way to their closet and spend a good ten minutes thinking of what they would wear or go down the stars for breakfast. Then they'd scramble their way out the door with their shoes half on, a piece of toast hanging out of their mouth, trying to catch the 7:48am bus.
But this blonde bombshell was not normal. Not even close. No. This girl was awake at five in the morning, slamming the snooze button only once, and immediately brushed her teeth and changed into some spandex shorts from Lululemon, and a Nike sports bra. By 5:15am, she was already out the door with a cold bottle of water in her hand, sneakers attached to her feet. The eighteen year old would then proceed to run approximately five miles before she would get back in the house to take a nice and
cold shower for twenty minutes, and then spend another fifteen to twenty minutes picking out an outfit for school. This girl always had to go to school looking good. Beautiful people
always have to look beyond good.
When this girl finally decided that she looked perfect in her outfit, she made her way down the stairs and only took a nasty tasting granola bar to bring along for the ride.
"Alexa!" Oliver called after her retreating figure. She pivoted in her heels, looking at her brother, raising a brow, wondering what he wanted.
"Don't forget to buy grocery. Mom and dad's coming home for dinner tonight." He reminded, before shooing her out the door.
"We both know they're not going to show up." The younger Evans-Shade said as a matter of factly. Their parents were typical. They call up the siblings and tell them to be prompt for family dinner, no excuses, and they end up cancelling on them after the dinner was made. She wasn't sure why her brother insisted that they both waste their time on something that won't be needed later on.
It's not like their mother actually wanted to see them. They just asked her to come for family dinner once in a while to catch up. Not that it was really catching up. Her mother just tended to drone on and on how great her life is without her children and being tied down. God. Those rare times that the whole family does sit down and eat together, it was beyond fake, and Alexa was sick and tired of acting like she gave a damn about her mother.
"Fine. I'll be back by 5" With that she walked out the door and into her four wheel drive- courtesy of her mother. Of course. What her mother would do to win against her father. Alexa wouldn't survive without a car. She needed it for everything, and it always came in handy when she was hanging out with people or needed to carry heaving things.
She drove off to school, early once again. She went into her first block- the class she shared with Corinne, sitting at the very back corner of the classroom, hiding her face behind the magazine, pretending to not hear the whispers around her. Not that she minded it. It meant they were giving her attention. You're not anybody until you're talked about, after all. She knew what they said about her, and they were all true, so she had no point in talking back. It would just be a waste of her time. From the top of her magazine, she caught a familiar figure walking in the room, the whispers now revolving around her. She rolled her eyes.
Now, when it came to Corinne, she had to say something because these worthless piece of craps called classmates are wrong about Corinne. The twin sat down in a couple of desks ahead of her, clearly ignoring the whispers. Alexa rolled her eyes, shaking her head a little. She picked up her stuff and walked down the aisle, the palm of her hand coming in contact with the back of a head. Or rather, the loudest and most annoying whisperer. The girl squeaked out a loud 'ow,' glaring at Alexa. The blonde in turn, just shrugged
"Sorry, hand slipped." And then proceeded to shove another kid out of the seat next to Corinne's.
"Morning, C" Alexa said brightly, trying to offer a friendly smile to the dark haired beauty.
