-- FEARS; not going anywhere with his music, that scares shafer the most. he wants to be famous and right now that is all he sees. he is also afraid of dying alone with fifty cats, but thats a different story.
-- HABITS; Tshafer has ocd, if his peas are with his carrots he must do something about it, divided plates are his thing. he hates stages that are really high up off the ground and he never wants fans right up against the stage. he has a hard time expressing his feelings so he does it in songs, but never will explain the songs to a journalist who is interested.

-- HISTORY; his history begins in virginia beach, virginia. where he lived in a nice cape cod inspired home with his two older sister, dad, and mom. in his toddler years everything was perfect, nothing out the ordinary, a normal middle class family just trying to make ends meet. as shafer got older he started to get attached to his older sister, they in turn got close to him as well, this is when things began to turn. the family started going through hard times, his father lost his job, leaving is mother to pick up another job just to pull in enough to keep the electric on and buy a few groceries. shafer and his two sisters often stayed away from home, they had a friend down the street who owned almost every instrument imaginable. the siblings the their friend started a small garage band they put their all into. shafer being the lead singer and guitar player, his one sister a bassist, the other on keyboard, and their friend (jack) on rhythm guitar. they were good and their small town began to notice. as they began to get gigs and such, the augustine family began to falter, and untie little by little. the small time the augustine kids were at home there was always yelling and fighting between parents, at one time their father even hit the older sisters.
shafer was furious, being a seventeen year old boy and watching this event, it made his blood boil. he hated his father for one for doing it, and he hated his mother for letting it happen. they stayed away from home a lot more often, when shafer graduated finally at age eighteen, the siblings came home for a short period to gather their things. they all planned to move out and live on their own. it was the night that really ripped the family to shreds. their father began throwing things hitting the sisters and the mother. shafer slugged him once and knocked him out. the police were called and shafer was arrested. his was put on trial, the court gave him a slap on the wrist and he was put on probation for about 6 months. their father was put in jail for however long and their mother became a drug addict. shafer and his sisters finally moved from virginia to canada after his 6 months were up. shafer was the only one who stuck to playing his guitar and singing late into the nights at the few gigs he could at coffee houses and after parties for proms. he pulled together some friends of his that he had grown close with after living in canada for a while and pulled together a band. called all time low. after about a year of living there, talk of shafer augustine and this band got around to a record company down in california. they wanted to meet him. after a few hours of hearing his original songs, they got him to sign a contract. he was off. since that day, shafer has been dedicated to what he does, dedicating all his performances to his two sisters, and giving a nice 'fuck you' to both his parents before playing. he religiously sends money to his sisters to pay for a small home they own in the outskirts of vancouver seeings how he lives in a penthouse in the city. he is twenty now and happy, the only family he has is his sisters. the rest of the family has disowned them all for moving away, and shafer especially for sending his father to jail. though he doesn't really have anyone, the boy has his guitar and he swears that is all he needs.
