"Everybody's in a line now, Dressed up to the nines now baby," [/size] ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Halen is nineteen years old, and already a supremely famous actor. He doesn’t brag about the fact as most young men his age would, but instead just accepts the fame as a blessing and a part of his life. Originally from London, England, the guy has that characteristic accent, with a deep, smooth voice to sugar-coat it even more. He moved to New York City when he was eight, and began really modeling for child’s wear, gaining the title of the signature face of The Gap Kids, although that was his most prestigious title at the time. Shortly after, the eight year old managed, without any prior experience, to land the role of Gavroche in a Broadway production of Les Mis, and received excellent reviews, putting him on the maps of several directors in Manhattan. This was the beginning of Halen’s addiction to the rush and adrenalin onstage, and spurred him to put more time and effort into theatre.
He stared in many productions throughout his teenage years, but was officially discovered by Daniel Fitz, a Movie and TV show director, when the British guy was sixteen. Daniel Fitz created a character on a show he was directing specifically for Halen, named Chris Dennings, a comedic soccer player, who was originally a guest star, but became reoccurring thanks to Fan reviews. Kalle managed to worm his way into the spotlight through the show, and he managed to nail the audition for the part of Carter Pitt, in a movie called ‘Rewritten’. Carter Pitt was a hit among audiences across the nation, striking into the hearts of female watchers. He won an Academy Award for his performance in the film, which is how he knows many actors and directors. Hollywood fell in love with Halen directly after the release of ‘Rewritten’, and created a series of images for him, ending with his current “Mr. Perfect”. The young man starred in many movies during his eighteenth year, one of which gained him another Academy Award for best supporting actor. He’s in Vancouver to film for a few shows, and maybe a movie or two before heading back to LA.
It really seems like Halen’s life is perfect, and has some pretty good luck, to get discovered at sixteen and three years later be a big name. Well, while Hollywood has its nose-jobs and fake-personalities, Halen’s secrets are even more deadly for his image, at least in his mind. But, can you even keep a secret in Hollywood North? Doubtful. But, see, Halen has always been able to be a chameleon to what people want or need to see, being the motorbike-riding guy when he needed to be a bad boy for the press. Now, since everyone in America knows his name he can resort back to the guy he really is. Halen is a quiet guy, rarely talking to anyone if he can help it. Many mistake his silence for shyness, but he’s not shy in the least, and his Broadway background is a stable example of it, not to mention the fact he can get on stage at the Academy Awards at seventeen and deliver a speech. No, he’s not shy, but he’s certainly quiet.
His favorite type of music is pop or country, thus why he is a Zaryn Oliver fan, though not an insane one, but he likes many other bands. He’ll listen to anything really but rap or death-metal. His favorite color is dark blue, with a second favorite of cream. He hates the color periwinkle with a passion, and refuses to wear or buy anything in the color. Halen likes things old fashioned and believes in respectful demeanor towards all people, regardless of beauty, age, or fame. He wouldn’t ever dare to flirt with a fan, as he thinks it’s incredibly rude to do so, because being an actor is an occupation not a hobby.
Halen Kalle isn’t humble per se but the Englishman isn’t arrogant either; he recognizes his strengths and weaknesses with a fairly good attitude. He’s never been a womanizer or player, but he isn’t new to dating either. Well, he is handsome, tall, British-accented, and famous; it would be hard not to date a few young ladies. He knows a lot of musicians because of his father’s business as a Music Producer, and has a few friends in the music industry, though most of his friends are just average people or TV show actors. He has a few real friends, who he trusts not to tell the paparazzi about his personal life, but there aren’t many of those, since he’s picky with his friends. The British boy isn’t known for being mean, and doesn’t have many enemies, but does have a few haters who think he’s a bag of… bull poop. But, there aren’t many, since Halen Kalle is just an over-all nice guy.
He’s your everyday guy meant for the infamous friend zone.

i don't think they would know each other already, but we could probably have them meet. thorne's twenty-one and a student at ubc, and she's kind of opposed to the whole idea of friendship because it never really works out for her. she's usually very cold and not too nice; i don't think he'd like her very much. :P
HALEN AND ZARYN;
well, he's a fan of her music and i would think she'd be a fan of his, as well, since he's handsome and british and an actor. :P i can see these two having met at awards shows like the teen choice awards and stuff, and being friends... what do you think?
HALEN AND CORINNE;
she's pretty much the polar opposite of her spoiled, bratty twin sister, even though they look identical. cor is more into the whole idea of helping people -- she volunteers everywhere she possibly can, and donates every penny she makes to charity. she's also starting to open up an animal shelter out of a spare barn on her family's property (shooting star stables, a prestigious horse farm). as he has a horse and a pony, maybe he boards them at what corinne often calls 'triple-s' and they know each other through that? i think these two would get along pretty well once she gets over the starstruck part. ;)
HALEN AND SERAH;
as socially awkward and loner-ish as serah is, she doesn't get out much, so she might not know who he was straight away. it would take a lot of time and a few hints before she'd realize where she recognized him from, and even then she wouldn't be super-mega-thrilled; she's just not like that. i have a feeling that he might take pity on her because of how people treat her...?

I can’t really see them being all that close, but opposites attract, after all, so I might be wrong. He’s just a nice guy who got lucky enough to get big. I think it would be cool if they met anyway, that’s the point of roleplaying after all, isn’t it? Reading over her application, it doesn’t seem like she was be a Halen Kalle fan, but I don’t know her whole story like you do.
Halen & Zaryn
They would probably know each other, true. Maybe they met at the Grammy’s, when Halen was there with his Music Producer father, and they hit it off as friends. They’re the same age, and all, so it would make sense for them to talk if there were only older people around. She could’ve also worked with Halen’s dad on a song when she was starting her career? I think they should at least know each other, if they aren’t friends.

I could definitely see that they would know each other, especially with his horses (Polo Pony is the title used for a cross-bred horse that is used in a game of Polo, it isn’t actually a pony.  ). I would think that he would dislike Rhi, as she’s not a very nice person, but he’d be too polite to actually say it aloud. Halen would be nice to Cor, even if she stuttered through being star-struck. He’s big on charity and fair treatment to animals, so he would come to a fundraising event for her animal shelter to help raise money, and probably give a fair donation himself.

That would be hilarious, to see this British guy who happens to be as famous as Zaryn Oliver being forgotten by a normal girl. He probably would be very understanding of her situation.

yeah, i don't think she's much of a fan of anyone, really. she'd probably be like, "oh, yeah, you're that halen guy. i saw that movie you were in..." and then leave it at that. luckily, i don't think halen's the kind of guy to talk to someone just in the hopes that they'll gush over him, so they could get along a bit because of that -- but other than that, i don't see much in the way of friendship. really, it just depends on how they meet and everything. maybe thread and just see where it goes?

i like the idea of halen's dad producing one of her songs or something; they could definitely know each other from the grammy's and all that lovely celebrity stuff. :)

that sounds awesome, haha. i think that she might be a little bit annoyed (but it would come out as mostly just awkward) that he was being sympathetic and stuff; because of all the bullying, she thinks that they're right and she isn't good enough. but after a while she would realize that he wasn't trying to make her a charity case or anything.

Halen & Thorne I think they could work at her not hating him. He doesn’t like gushing at all; he prefers it when people treat him like a normal guy. He’s more of a keep-it-all bottled-up kind of guy, much like her. We may as well, there’s no harm in trying. Halen & Zaryn “All that lovely celebrity stuff,” made me laugh. I don’t think Halen takes as much enjoyment or pride in fame as Zaryn… When did she become famous? Because if Kristar Kalle, Halen’s father, produced one of her songs before she or Halen were famous and they met then it would be a very different friendship. As for the Grammies, perhaps Kristar and Zaryn won a Grammy for the song they did together. Another option is that Zaryn was in a movie, making her an actress, and the two were in a movie together, and the movie was nominated for an Academy Award and they appeared together… Brainstorming is fun. Halen & Cor Don’t sweat it, I rode horses when I was little, I know more than a lot of people. Wouldn’t Cor be reasonably used to celebrities around ‘Triple-S’ as you call it? And, can she ride horses? Dumb question, but I’m just wondering. Halen & Serah Hmmm…. Halen would feel slightly awkward talking to her as a celebrity, but if she didn’t know who he was, he could just say his name was Halen, and talk to her as a normal guy. |

she got famous three years ago, when she was sixteen. she sort of got discovered through youtube, so nobody produced any of her songs before she was actually famous. ;) as for acting, she's just making her acting debut in the movie i've got as a site event on here, so i don't think that would work... but maybe kristar produced one of her first songs after she was discovered, and that won a grammy?

i suppose she would have met some celebs before, but no one uber-famous or anything. mainly just local celebrities and stuff like that. yeah, she can ride. her parents are pretty well-known horse trainers, so she was riding from a young age. and i'll totally fake knowing more than i do so that corinne will seem like she knows enough. i rode a bit when i was little, but only in summer camps, so i sometimes act like i know a lot about horses... but then, when i'm faced with someone who actually knows about horses, i'm like "... oh." :P

ohmygoodness, he should so totally do that. just start talking to her like he isn't famous and then it'll take her longer to figure it out, and then she'll have a little freak-out wondering if he was making subtle hints and hoping she'd realize who he was soon or whatever. i like screwing with her mind. ;)

Halen got discovered when he was sixteen too. We could say they met when they were seventeen, when she was officially famous and working with Halen’s father. So how did they meet exactly..? At the Grammy’s, when she was recording? Any other ideas?

I rode for… three years. I joined an official stable my second year, and used their horses, as long as I mucked the stables. I rode eq, but I liked western too. Anyway, they could know each other from the trails and such, but never really talked. I don’t know.
Halen & Serah
She should figure it out after he leaves. More dramatic. Maybe see his face on a magazine cover next to Brad Pitt, or something. He’d probably be just like ‘Poor kid… I remember when people called me Homo Halen’. I was thinking of making it so he’d been bullied as a teenager for doing theatre. Of course, he obviously didn’t care much.

Starbucks is pretty great, I admit. He’ll be sweaty and such because he’s just gone for a run. Sorry, but he wouldn’t just go in and get coffee, there’s nothing introduction worthy about that…

Yeah, maybe he came to the studio to talk to his dad about something, and Zaryn is recording. His father has to go to a meeting and they talk? Good or no? And I agree about the awards show.

They could run into each other somewhere, and they could actually talk for the first time.

A thread in the past would be interesting, definitely, and give the characters more depth. She could, but Kristar is headquartered in LA, so that might be hard. I think it would be unrealistic to have him fly all the way up unless Zaryn was one of his favorite clients… and according to her app she’s a bit of a bitch. Anyway – I’m cool with whatever.

He probably would since fewer people are around the stables at the crack of dawn. I’m not quite sure how they would interact is the problem.

Halen & Thorne Okay… Is she going to hate him right off the bat? One for being famous, and two for smelling like man-stench? Halen & Zaryn I wouldn’t have thought so. I bet she’s the subject of many boy’s obsessions though, to make up for it. I would guess they would just talk about how she was discovered. Maybe she watched the show he starred in? It would be a good way to start a conversation. Halen & Cor It really could be quite funny. Make sure they’re mediocre pajamas, so it’s even more embarrassing.  She could also take the dog on a walk and the dog scares Halen’s horse, and he gets bucked off. That would also create for some interesting conversation. Halen & Serah Sure, sure… |
