well. that cutie right up there with wesley james is JACKSON NO-LAST-NAME-YET. as in, you get to choose his last name. in fact, if you want to change his playby, that's fine, too... just run it by me first, because i'm a little bit picky about those. anyways, jackson is EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD and a high school student in grade 12 along with wes. basically, he is WESLEY'S BEST FRIEND, although she ignores him a lot of the time, and HE'S IN LOVE WITH HER, even though that's a total cliché. i don't care if it's overdone, it's cute.

JACKSON knows everything about wesley. he knows how her parents died (they drowned), he knows that she's deathly afraid of water, he knows where she hides when she feels the need to cry. him and his family moved to vancouver during grade eight, and as luck would have it, they moved in right next door to WESLEY AND HER GRANDPARENTS. they didn't really talk until the summer; he thought she was cute (because, well, she is), but she's POPULAR and didn't talk to him, so why would he talk to her?

anyways, about a week into summer vacation, they totally ran into each other... literally. and before they knew it, THEY WERE THE BEST OF FRIENDS. except after the summer was over and school started, she started to ignore him. obviously, he was pretty CONFUSED, and he asked her what was going on. and do you know what she said? she said, "sorry, jackson... but you're not the kind of guy i should be friends with." and then she asked him to pretty please not tell anyone that they were friends. clearly, JACKSON WAS CRUSHED. because she was his best friend, and besides, he was pretty sure he might like her. as in, LIKE LIKE HER. right?

but they didn't speak for months, and then she started liking some guy named tyler, and JACKSON MOVED HALFWAY ACROSS TOWN right around the time that wes and tyler started dating. of course, six months later, tyler dumped wesley for her closest girl friend, and that night, SHE CALLED JACKSON and asked him to come over. it was right at the beginning of a two-week spring break, and those whole two weeks were spent together, getting over tyler. yet when they got back to school again, SHE WENT BACK TO IGNORING HIM. jackson tried so hard, but she didn't even notice, and she just forgot about him again!

halfway through the summer, she called him again. and forgot about him. grade ten began, and that all happened three more times, in some sort of VICIOUS CYCLE. jackson just KEPT COMING BACK when she needed him; maybe he thought that if he tried hard enough, she would notice enough to see that he had feelings for her, and get some in return. of course, that didn't happen. even now, if wesley calls him, he will DROP EVERYTHING and GO TO HER, no matter what. other than those times, they don't talk anymore, and he hates that. jackson is the only person who can tell that she's BROKEN, and he wants more than anything to have the courage to tell her that she's beautiful and HE LOVES HER.

these two are most definitely going to END UP TOGETHER. eventually, he'll have to get up the courage to TELL HER HOW HE FEELS, and she'll probably avoid him a bit longer until she realizes that SHE LOVES HIM, TOO. and anyone who makes him automatically gets ETERNAL GRATITUDE. if you want more details on their half-maybe-friendship, click HERE to read WESLEY'S APP.
